This is my journal of 4x C99’s from Female Seeds. I grew one bag seed a few years ago and it turned out to be male. This is my second attempt, and I hope that I come close to the success of the other Cindy grows that are taking place here. I have done a lot of reading and trying to get as much knowledge from the posters here before I start asking questions that have already been answered. I put 4 seeds into drink cups filled with a seed starter mix and some EWC’s at a 5 part seed starter to 1 part EWC ratio. I saturated the mixture and placed the seeds 1/4’’ down and covered them up. Under four 4’ T12 tubes they went and I waited. Day 2 one came up day 3 another and about 12 hours later the last 2. 100% germination rate. So now I have 4 babies to take care of and in hindsight I’m wondering if I should have put two in cold storage for another day. Oh well, it’s done. I am taking the day the last two came up and calling that the start day. These photos were taken on day 3 according to that. I have already read about the SLOW nature of this strain so I’m going to try and be patient. These will stay under the T12 tubes until day 14 or so and then I plan to pot them up and start up the 400w MH for vegging. For flowering, I will put the HPS bulb in. My setup will be a 4x4 frame wrapped in orca grow film. I will be able to keep the area between 70-80 degrees with an oscillating fan. So far I’ve spritzed a little water on the top of the seed starter with a spray bottle; they are still pretty weighty from the presoak before planting. Advice, criticism, and general slamming is appreciated. I hope that I have put this in the right place to get exposure. Being a newbie, I wasn’t sure if I should go there, but with the other two C’99 grows that I’m following here, I thought that it would be a good place to compare. Thanks in advance.
