Hey man, I got the SGS-160, their previous model. Ive never grown with anything else, but it is working great. Bud seem to be filling up nicely, would however like an opinion from you Slipon, since you're the expert on growing Barney's LSD Im 36 days into flower, so tell me if you would take a moment to look at the buds I have pruned too much, I fear, so Im not gonna get as much as Id hoped for, but what the heck hehehe

Goatlicker, just send them a mail at area51, they give you excellent attention, they are really nice people. You can probably figure something out, I had mine shipped to South America with no problems !

I suggest don't buy a led. were doing a led vs t5 high out put grow off. in a hydro store and the t5 is killing the led so far with yield and looks. a 200 dollar t5 vs a 1200 led.

Dam, they look really good. I went to buy the 2014 pre order version with free shipping last night but couldn't get the free shipping option so I emailed him and he fixed it already so will buy one tonight.
I'll be doing a grow journal with my next grow under it for sure..

nahhh don't worry, yours look fine, IME the LSD comes in two different phonos, and yours look like the more Sativa dominated one, so give it 8-9 week`s (3-4 more) it will pack on a lot the last two weeks or so, next two week I would maybe up the P/K a bit before cutting the nuts depending on what your growing in/with (I mostly grow in a organic soil mix of my own, and do a top dressing around week 3 and 5 with some Bat guano with a high P/K ratio, a normal liquid PK 13/14 would work too, but be careful with the dose, specially with LEDs 1/2 or even 1/4 strength is normally enough, what I did notice with this strain is that its a Mg lover so I do add some epsom salt to my watering schedule

Yeah, not only are they providing some excellent lights at a really reasonable price, but they are also really good at getting the orders through, even though it may sometimes be a bit of a hassle for them. If it is the sativa dominant one I got, then Im even more sorry, that my cloning didnt work out >.< I prefer it to the indica strains, however, I have another sativa in the closet, and it is just now showing signs of flowering, seems to take 3-4 months of flower time >.< and it grows like nothing I could have possibly imagined. Only a few inches from the light now, and until the LSD comes out, there is nowhere to bend it. A real shame

And Goat, the new one adds another 3 sq feet, that is a lot. I cant even take full advantage of the SGS's 6 sq feet, but 9 sq feet is close to one square meter, that is a lot for such low wattage use. So awesome

Dam Ye that's alot. My closet is only 1.5 x 2.1 ft so it'll be pretty good I think.

yeah, its going to be tight! Why dont you make yourself a small wooden box? I mean, youre only using a third of what you really can do with the light. Seems like a shame.

Yes I know, needs to be stealth though is the only problem.
Not really many places to hide a grow box.
I will possibly make a bigger grow space some how or somewhere in the future to put the light to good use.
I've ordered it and it should be leaving the USA in the 3rd Jan! Be able to finish the rest of my current grow with it? It'll be about 4 weeks into flower by the time it arrives.

Also it says on their site that it only covers 39x39 max but recommends 32x32 which is only 2.6ft x 2.6ft. Or Max 3.2ftx3.2ft.
Whoops Ye that 10ft sq Max or 7ft sq recommended.

My space is 3.15 ft sq Lol
