Wardrobe perpetual grow: Beginner with some basic knowledge needing some help
Please excuse my bad english,

I have a 7ft by 4ft wardrobe to grow in, with about a third of the hight cut off for the veg section and the remaining 4 ft above it for flowering.

My plan is to have 4 indica plants ready for harvest every 2 weeks.

As you can tell my knowledge is basic at best.

I will be growing in soil.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Also..

What would I need to purchase from my local hardware store?

In terms of the:
- 2 lights needed for veg and flower. (what would be best for this set up?)
- Sealing the inside of the wardrobe with reflective sheeting. (is mylar best?)
- Making the wardrobe well ventilated (what fans are needed for this set up?)
- the differences in ventilation and light for veg and flower.
- Making it smell proof

Having said all of that would a better option be to fuck the perpetual grow and just go for a sog autoflower with an aim for a harvest every other week?

Thoughts anyone cos im fucking lost!

Sorry for the double up - I ironically also posted this in the newbies section.

Thanks.

Thats a very broad list, people will tell you LOTS of different things. Keep it simple, its a weed. That is what i put in my mind, since day 1, and have had very successful results. Use clones and good soil.

As for your materials, Start with lighting for VEG - and ventilation. You can use large florescent fixtures, or small compact bulbs (what i use, love them!!). Look @ peoples grow logs, get some ideas, go to the store. Veg bulbs are 6500k, flower are 2700 or lower. Also, get a temp meter for sure, right off. Once you get your basic VEG setup, start refining it, IE (reflective material, etc...)

There are so many avenues, you need to post some pics of the cabinet, tell us how/where u can vent hot air and anything else you find important.....

Start with some bag seed and keep them alive, if you can do that, you will learn to get them into flower and eventually smoke out!! Good luck!!

EDIT: You will want to get some weather stripping and some latex or silicone caulk and seal every crack/hole the cabinet. I had temperature issues, and when i sealed it up nice and tight, it went to a perfect level. I should have started there. That also cuts down on sound, and smell. The only time i can smell my plants without opening the cabinet, is when it gets hot in there.

Hey ergist! I'm new to RUI and am about to build the same size cabinet you have. I've been reading this and many more sites for over 4 months planning things. Not saying I'm a pro just that I can help.

Everything stated above by amno is perfect. We need to know your budget with pics so we can decide lights and ventilation (very important) and everything else you need.
I'll be starting a thread on my build we can follow each others.

Im growing in a 3' x 3' by 7' closet with a 600w hps and we have HEAT issues you're gonna need a powerful fan 350-500cfm if you wanna run a HID light

I took a floor model "Hepa Filter" "air purifier" thing, ripped out the blower and controls. 4 speed - Upto probably 300CFM easy.

Anyway you can get pics? First time Ive heard of someone doing that for a fan lol. Ventilation is the number one factor IMO of cab growing. Ive read so many threads where people started out and had heat issues, so dial that in and you'll be golden.

If you can, head over and see what Ive got, just posted it. Not sure how to link it here.

What sort of weight are you trying to reach for each two week period?
Just wondering, because I'm thinking about doing the same sort of set up.
