Where are you at? Because really it depends on your area whether or not they'll come looking for you. Where I used to live, they just built a new station and they needed to fill the cells to help pay for it, so they actually went out to people's homes to find people with warrants. My mother got arrested on a Sunday morning for a warrant for a failure to appear on a traffic ticket, right from our house. Weird shit.

Usually, you have until your next run in with the cops. Once they run your name you're in for it, unless you go and make a court date for yourself. If you live in LA County I could even give you the website where you can make the appointment online...

what do you mean if i make a court date?

i blaze, so you think i should be woried about them hunting me down? alright, good to know they cant hunt me in a background.

Make a court date for whatever your warrant is for. If it's a failure to appear, you make an appointment to appear on whatever ticket it was. If it's that you owe money and you don't have it, you can make an appointment to appear and ask the judge for more time to pay.

I don't know how it is in Wisconsin, but around here they're usually pretty willing to work with you...as long as you come in on your own. If you get pulled over and arrested for a warrant, they're usually less nice, because they think the only reason they're seeing you now is that you got arrested.

That's not true. Why do you think Budget Suites, etc. ask for a driver's license to rent a room. If you're in trouble with the law they let them know you are staying there.

I don't think so. I had felony warrants in the last state I lived and had background checks all the time. Never had a cop after me. I'm pretty sure I'm right. Someone should google it.

I live in the hotel capitol of the world so I think I would know. Believe me. . . I had a friend who was arrested because he was trying to rent a room for Thanksgiving at a Budget Suites and he had a warrant our for his arrest for outstanding parking tickets. He had to be bailed out just to go to a Thanskgiving dinner.
