Wasn't going to ask this...

Wasn't planning on asking this like most new growers...but when is the earliest time frame you would guess, until harvest?? I'm getting slammed by caterpillars and it's killing my soul slowly, daily. I have been using BT, but worried about spraying too often as I don't want to affect the taste and I'm not familiar with bud washing (not sure how I feel about the idea of washing, worried about drying after) and even with the BT I'm still removing buds daily due to worm shit/rot. I'm livid, to say the least.
She is also displaying some other issues as well, she's drooping and I'm afraid it's her pot size (I never anticipated her getting so big) really hoping she will make it thru.
Trichomes are only 50/50 milky/clear :/
Any insight is much appreciated

OP Regarding bud washing, it’s a good idea. You already know there’s caterpillar poop all over them. Ask yourself if you’d want to smoke an outdoor bud that a bird took a big crap on without it being washed first. Yuck.

It won’t really affect drying, fresh buds aren’t like sponges. They are so wet internally that they can’t really soak up additional water. Shake them off and hang them - any excess moisture on the surface will be evaporated quite quickly.

You are so right, it makes me cringe even having to touch it, let alone think about smoking it. I have become pretty good at spotting it, but these little jerks know how to hide, I'm sure I can't find all of it. Regarding the washing, is there a method you recommend?

@Wizzlebiz has a good thread on washing:

Suggest at least two buckets, but if you search and read on here, there are some other good threads on washing.

I am actually doing just that and find @Wizzlebiz is very popular in the washing dept :) Thanks for the info, I truly appreciate it.

Any guess as to how long my Clarabelle has to go till harvest??

I think the 2+ weeks estimate that @JonathanT posted is about right.

That said, I’m stoned on some lower branch stuff I trimmed to clean up the plants two weeks ago right now. That stuff was no where near ready but still packs a nice buzz. If you’re just growing for yourself, early harvest to hedge against loss due to bug damage or molds isn’t harvest Armageddon like some members like to say it is.
Better to wait if you can tho. Saw someone post something like “everyone in the US is waiting for buds to ripen right now and none of them really are ripe yet”. That sounds about right.

Definitely going to try to wait it out, but appreciate the boost in confidence if I decide to harvest early. These little assholes are relentless!
Still have to figure out the drooping leaves, thought it was underwatering since her pot was light, so gave her a good drink and still didn't seem to help... so now I haven't watered in a few days and her pot is light and she still is drooping
:(

Get some Spinosad and get to work. Lol

Hmmm I already have some here, just thought BT was the go to for the little inch worm/moth larvae demons. Also have read mixed reviews on use in flower. You think it's better than BT for worms? Or maybe spraying more than once a week with the BT?

Yes it will kill bud worms/caterpillars. I would use it to kill what you can see.

BT is more of a maintenance thing. It doesn't kill unless eaten. It's a bacteria that doesn't agree with bud worms.

I was just kidding man. Your plant looks pretty good.

Thanks, can I ask your opinion on if her fans seem too droopy? It doesn't seem normal to me, but I have also never flowered cannabis before, I'm a pro at smokin it for the last 24 years, but this is a whole new world for me
