Everyone has there own mix, I would go with Fox Farms line if you are just looking for the one part.

I personally have a 7 or 8 different nutes that I mix to make that Magic Nug Juice haha, you can really make it as simple or complicated as you want too, for my base nutes I use The Pura Vida Organics Grow and bloom, this is a good one for you too cus you can combine both the grow and bloom in a more aggressive 2 part formula if you desire and they have high consintraites. a consintraite of 20-20-20 would be too high for cannabis.

Oh and just a note, all the nutes mentioned are organic, if you wish to go with a mineral fert instead I am not the persion to talk to ha..:bigjoint:

I like the botanicare pure blend pro nutes, they are supposed to be something like 98% organic and are fairly inexpensive compared to others, im happy with the results. be sure its the PRO line and not just the pure blend as those are the chemically derived nutes

they are really easy to use (one type of nute for veg/bloom) and if you aren't against using an additive or two I'd recomend the liquid karma to go along with it. Honestly i just use the bloom with a little bit of liquid karma and a dash of molasses and i like what i get out of it

super sticky and smelly buds never did me wrong, just my 2 cents

If you haven't made your mind up yet I would search eBay for Blue Mountain Organics. For about $25 you can get everything you need for a successful grow. Also search the forum for BMO and you can see what others have to say about their products.

fox farm isnt cheap. it costs like 20 bucks for the bottle. so when you buy, fox farm:grow big . for veg. then fox farm:tiger bloom for flower. carb shit for the flushing stage. superthrive, bat guano, and wormcastings...oh also a bag of promix....so all that will cost you like a c-note. its hard to go spend the money some times but seriously. if you get good products and dont cut corners in the beggining. it will be sooooo worth your while......i grew with bag seeds the first grow i did...i used yard dirt, and miracle grow.
now i look at pics its pathetic the difference once i started using good nutes and soil.
i spent like 20 bucks to get my first grow going. i wasted 6 months growing garbage....wasnt even worth the time. except that i got a lot of good experiance out of it....
second time i went out and got 2 real lights. i bought a 400 hps and a 600 hps. i bought promix for my medium. worm shit bat shit and all the other superthrive and fox farm stuff. the lights the nutes and the soiless mix, on top of really awsome seeds... yeah it all cost me like a thousand dollars for everything, but i ended up growing 60 plants that all thrived and did awsome. my first plants i got like half an oz from. at the end of my big big grow i pulled 3 or 4 oz per plant. the differene was just amazing...in the end you will recoup any money you put into it. and when you get the proper shit and have a sucessful grow there isnt anything like it in the world. good luck

i agree w/ jordin to a point, but just because some nutes are more expensive than others doesnt necessarily make them better.

the more you skimp on quality ingredients the end product will show it, get good lights and high quality soil then the nutes pretty much come down to personal preference/available funds/trial and error.. see what you like and move forward

I'm a believer in Blue Mountain Organics. That stuff is simply amazing. all organic and natural...much cheaper than the more commercial stuff like FF etc. Check it out and you won't be sorry.

i didnt mean cause they are expensive they are better. i meant that fox farm is great stuff, but it is expensive....i found when i did my first grow that when i tried to cut corners and just go with the cheap shit, it was very dissapointing in the end...when i actually went ut and got half decent stuff it made all the difference in the world. i just wish i did it right the first time rather than spend 6 months growing garbage. although it was a learning experiance

Before you buy any fert do yourself & your wallett a favor & research fertilizers & how they are made, all the info you need is in google & easy to locate,an hours research will show that there are no majik sauce ferts & that expensive botique ferts are no dfferent than ferts costing $3 or less, spending $25 or more on ferts is not needed nor does it offer any benifit other than the buyer having a good feeling from buying a premium product.

Fertilizers are made from salts, some ferts are made using inexpensive salts which lead to a hot dose fertilizer (Miracle Grow) where it is easy to roast a plant while other ferts are made with top quality salts which makes a much more user & plant friendly fertilizer that wont burn, fox farms & other botique companies use the high quality salts but you better lube up well for the ass pounding they put on your wallett.

As a testament to the unnessacary expense of these ultra expensive fertilizers try & find testimonials from one single farmer, or commercial produce grower as to the benifit of these small time ultra high dollar botique fertilizer/soil marketing operations, farmers are businessmen & any product with the ability to enhance yeild would be looked at very seriously, keep this in mind when others reccomend botique soil at $25 a bag,a little research on what weed plants need from soil will reveal that a proper soil perfect for growing weed can be made using off the shelf soils & soil amendments from any home depot or lowes at 1/10 th the cost.

The same quality ferts can be had for about $5 in several off the shelf ferts,i use Peters granular fertizers exclusively,i used their ferts for years while i was doing indoor soil grows & had spectacular results that were just as good as the results from Fox Farms products, ive converted from all soil growing to all hydro growing using flood & drain tables over a year ago & have used Peters brand in both hydro & soil.

When i 1st went hydro i ran fox farm fert till i mastered growing flood & drain then switched right back to Peters ferts with equally high results, after researching ferts look into Peters brand or Jacks Classic brand ferts as they are both the same content from the same manufacturer using only top quality salts which are also full range ferts containing all the micro nutes that several botique operations do not include.

Each time i start a new grow i try to do something different each time. I usually try to put a plant or 2 aside and try to figure out a good mix.
This time im gonna use this method:
1 40 lb bag of pro mix.
1 20 lb bag of wormcastings.
1 bag of blood meal
1 bag of bone meal
1 bag of bat guano
1 bag of perlite bought at the hydro.
I mix it all up and then i put it into 5 gallon buckets and trans plant my babies at 3 weeks or 7 nodes.
Once its in the bucket with the pre mixxed soiless mix. All i have to do is water it....i still will use a 1/3 strength ff grow big until 2 weeks before flowering then i start with 1/3 strength ff tiger bloom......all the while i will use superthrive with every watering...
In the end i will flush 2 weeks before harvest and ill use a carb adder during the flush....im growing under a 400 and 600 hps. As long as i use good seeds from a good breader. Its a recipe for sucess.....just make sure you add perlite or vermaculite so your soil will be pourase enough to let water nutes etc...through....roots get very healthy when they can get through the soiless or soil mix easily...plus it helps with drainage....helps prevent root rot

Dont waste your $10 spot on superthrive,in several university studies superthrive failed to show one single benifit to plant health, growth, transplant shock, cuttings, flowering or fruiting,in the study the plants fed superthrive showed no evidence of any enhancement over plants fed plain water, the link to the study is here somewhere or it can be googled but superthrive is a proven snake oil & should be avoided .
