i was walking tho a hydroponics wharehouse just look'en around and i seen this panel thing so i walk over to it and it was a LED light panel i also read the back of the box and it said​

How many LEDS, how many watts, red to blue ratio....

You just told me a bunch of marketing mumbo jumbo no real stats on the product so how am I supposed to tell you what I think???

I do think LEDS are great for vegging though and make great sidelighting during flowering. :peace:

Sounds good but what about the price? hahaha Those are sold on HTGsuplly for 50 bcks a piece. :peace::blsmoke:

Yeah I was gonna order 3 of those for a new veg chamber...My room is gonna get to hot in the summer I know it ,I need LEDS...

Is there a good company on ebay?

Hell yeah they are worth it for veg......They are worth the electricity you save alone. I have yet to see LEDs flower right in person they flowered it just wasnt worth it. Maybe if you made like a hole room walls coated with LEDs but that alot of money lol I would do it if I was rich just to see if it worked. And if it didnt make cool trippin toys out of the LEDs:blsmoke:

Already got other lights......Floros are hot after running for 24 hours straight and so is MH or HPS and also drain electricity.. LEDs make more sence for veg if you got the money. Some of us sleep in the grow rooms to having a 400watt light in the closet for 12 hours and a floro tubes for 24 hours makes the room hot..gotta turn up A/C even more electricity...

i knew led banks were cool (in temperature), but to the touch? is it possible/practical to have them touching the plant to maximize lumens?

yes if u must they can touch the plant as the lights them selves are not hot can can be touched at anygiven time. i am going to buy a few and ill keep everyone posted for results and how they worked and if they are any good.
