Water- hot/cold oxygenated?

I see people oxygenating water with air stones. What is the benefit in watering soil with this water? How is it properly done before watering. When do you add nutrients? Does watering with cold water hurt plants?

Don't water with very cold water, let it come to room temperature.

Hot water isn't any better for them.

Roots get oxygen as the soil dries out- which is the prime reason why you should let the soil dry out until the plants are almost drooping and wilting, but not quite.

Then, water to ten percent runoff- assuming your pot is the right size.

I run my tap water until it's luke warm on the back of my hand (which is about room temp, and the same temps that are in my tents and aerocloner). It's not science, but it seems to work and I've never had a plant die on me.

Ironically, I just got done doing this with five new rooted clones I just planted in soil; one going straight to the flower tent, and the rest to veg :)

I don't think bubbling the water will help in soil, as it'll be filtrated through the soil anyways. However, I don't know for sure, so I could be wrong.

I do grow in soil. I use distilled water. I usually just mix nutrients in water, shake well, and serve. However I wonder is there benefit by either aerating the water for an hour first, then adding nutrients? Or would there be a benefit if I added my nutrients, then aerated with an air stone for a while to mix nutrients in better, then serve?

I personally use room temperature water (70-75 degrees(, and oxygenate the water for an hour when mixing fertilizers. I do it more for better mixing than for adding oxygen to the water.

not necessary.

growing dope can be as simple or as complicated as you make it out to be. You're not going to notice any difference aerating your nutrient solution with an airstone before feeding in soil. The water coming out of the hose/tap should do more to aerate it than anything else.
