Water leaks

I built an aeroponic system in a 31g rubbermaid crate. Well Ithought it was rubbermaid...I got home and the tag actually said some bs like rubberman. The system works, but Im having water leaks around the top. I put weatherstripping around the top of the crate, and the top latches on top of it. I tried it w/ and w/o the stripping, but it leaks even worse w/o. One of the worst places is the notch I had to cut for the pumps power cord. Anyone been through this? If I got an actual rubbermaid crate would that solve it? Any help would be lovely. Thanks in advance.

Get an Igloo.

Thanks guys! I went and bought a rubbermaid.......no weatherstripping....no nothing.....NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its a crapshoot. All my rubbermaids leak, either right away or eventually.
I use weatherstrip and clips, but I think id go the igloo route next time.
