Water level for drain off

Well maybe someone can help with my next project. I have a 35 gal tote and I was going to have water drain in to a 5 gal bucket beside my big tote. My question is how fair below my net pot should I have the water level. The 5 gal bucket will pump a drip to the plants in the big tote.

Yeah I know that but I was wondering since this is going to be in my flower room and the roots will be long by then and I was going to have a seperate bucket beside my tote for my pump drip system. Do u think about 3 inches below the net pot since there will be a drip on my big girls

The medium drying out is ok or will the roots bring up enough water. I was thinking the side bucket would be easyier on my nut and ph checks and for adding water. Will the drip hurt the plants if I continue through harvest

You may have problems with mold and/or stem rot... plus it is just extra energy...

Once the roots are in the water... no need to top feed... and yes, the medium WILL dry out, and that is fine...:razz:

I would keep things as simple as possible... connections and hoses serve one main purpose ... TO LEAK..

I go as simple as possible, but not simpler...:lol::clap:

Good Luck...:joint::peace:

MAKE SURE THE ROOTS ARE WELL ESTABLISHED IN THE WATER BEFORE SHUTTING OFF THE DRIP...

But yeah... :razz: no need for it after...
