Water or Earth

I'm growing my first plants and I'm using a hydroponic system because what everyone i talked to told me was that it was better and I would get danker plant. Is this even true? If it is then why does anyone use soil? Just curious cuz i love my system, got it from somebody for FREE, and if i grow later in life i don't think I'll use soil cuz my hydro system is kickin major ass. For people who use soil, have you ever used a hydroponic system before and if so why do you like soil better?

Earth, soil is the way to go. Produces much better quality, hydro is for faster lower quality weed.

hydro people love hydro, soil people love soil, who are you?
IDK I tried my hands on hydro, it was more work to me than soil, but hydro people argue the oposit.
hydro grows faster, but you need meters, and pens, and have to monitor everything. I'm too high for that shit.
plus hydro usualy is of inferior quality when it comes to taste, and high.
when it comes yield and speed (indoors), hydro might take that one.
I believe it was FDD who said something along the lines of, hydro is like fake tits, they look great, but once you gotem in your hands you feel cheated... he said it much more poeticaly.
