Water Question - hopefully someone can help

I normally fill a big bucket for my water supply, I leave it 24 hours before using.

Lately when I fill the bucket when I test it, it shows as 0.25 EC, but then when I stir it up and test it again it shows as 0.

If I fill a cup of water up, it shows as 0.25 EC, but doesn't change if I stir it.

Any advice welcomed

I belive its cause your displacing the water . Not sure tho mine does the same thing with I have the air pump on bounces all over so I just take a 50ml sample and test

So should I take what I first saw ie 0.25 EC? not zero after I've stirred it?
