I use a quadgrow system for watering my plants. The reason is it makes it possible for me to travel for a week without thinking about watering the plants. I have tried supplying the water reservoir beneath the plants with oxygen from an aquarium pump to an oxygen stone. I saw that the roots grew enormosly down to the reservoir. I'm not sure if it is only good that this happens. The roots grow so much that they may impede water circulation in the reservoir. Maybe the best thing is to use the aquarium pump only occasionally.
