This is my second attempt at a grow, my first plant seemed very healthy but it turned out to be a male...my second plant started out ok but it has light green patches mostly around the outer edges of the leaves...i have some clones i took off of plant 1 basically as a trial run in cloning that are showing the same signs..plus they have some brown spots on the older leaves...i ran out of test strips to test water ph but the only thing im doing different with this grow and the clones than i did in grow 1 is im using rainwater instead of bottled water...do you think that the rainwater is to acidic and could be causing my problems...I'd buy a tester or something but im like an hour from anywhere that mite have one. I was thinking rainwater would be better but now im not so sure

No im not because of the soil im using...i don't even want to tell u this but the soil is scotts hyponix that has slow release nutes in it...i know i know bad choice but I already had it and the first plant did so good until i found out it was a male..that plant was 55 days old from sprout and looked so dam good...however i do plan on adding some nutes if needed when i get to flower stage if i ever get there lol

I use rainwater it's all I use. All rain water is different depending on where you live. Mine has a ph around 7 and after adding Nutes, calmag etc usually don't need to ph lingers in the 6 zone. But I've seen other parts of the country be in the low 6's high 7's. I'd get a pen, I test my rainwater each and every time I use it. Also check the ppms of it to see if I got some crappy dirty water, from the rain etc. You prob need some calmag. Get up a few pics.

Agreed, being the soil it is, for all we know could be bugs causing problems.
This is the first plant..male...55 days old grown in same soil and same light...just different water

Ok thanks queen...do u think i should go back to bottled water until i can get a tester or keep giving it rainwater...and im gonna get a few pics up in a minute

See a little burn on the one in a few spots, but looks like early n deficiency, especially with the light leaves, the last two pics are dark, if the leafs are that dark then you def got a n tox, looks over watered too. How often do you water? Problems with time released soils.
I water every 2-3 days depending on how the soil feels...and i think they look dark because the room was kinda dark when i took those pics thats why i put it back in with the lights and took another pic

Still green so thats a good sign lol. All of them are clearly over watered. Overwatering can cause those issues. I would just let it dry out then water and let it dry out again and keep that going and it see if it gets better before you go ape shit with all the other stuff.
Ok thanks I didn't want to do anything to drastic ...I didn't think i was over watering but ill back off and see what happens...mite go back to bottled water to since thats the only thing ive changed
