so yesterday my friend got a pool, we built it and filled it up with water, when we checked the ph of the water it was at a high 7. my question is what will watering my outdoors with that water do to them?? is it really that big of a deal?? ive heard watering with high ph will close the roots up and stop them from taking in the nutes i give them.

Your fine with 7

7 is not high for outdoor plants , 7 is neutral

i water my outdoor plants with ph between 6 and 7

Yeah, PH is less of a problem outdoors as the soil will in most cases nutralize it. If your concerned about it, add coffee grounds to your soil. The grounds have a perfect 6.9. I save all mine year round and add them to my compost pile. Never had a lock out yet. Anyone ever had a problem with PH outside? Personaly, I have never heard of it.

its not been a problem so far, nor has it been the past couple years, but ive honestly never checked the ph of my water here, never really cared about it being outdoors, it just tripped me out seeing the ph that high, ill put some grounds on the soil, thanks
