Its enough to kill you. I just unplugged it when I seen what was going on. I know it didn't kill them.Holy crap! Bubbling from the electricity? That's pretty scary, I wonder what that did to the roots.. I remember reading about some study regarding electricity being supplied to the roots, sorta like shock therapy, I suppose... i'd imagine it wouldn't be at quite THAT high of amperage though
pretty much the same thing only i had lava rock in the bottom of the pot they're heavy and don't float. another difference is I used living soil and just used water. Idk if it takes you to the first post, I have been reading on this for awhile. Uses smart pots and just waters into the trays(full of perlite or other wicking source) and then does teas outside of the trays. Seems to be the perfect passive-hydro combo with organics.
