watering habits~

I was just noticing at about 7 weeks into flowering that all four of my plants seem to be using water at a much different rate.... all are about the same size and seem healthy in general...I give them the same amount of water each time but lately some are thirsty again in about 24 hours (judging by pot weight) and others remain fine for 3, sometimes four days.... is this normal???

I can't offer a diffinitive answer, but can note that some plants do respirate more than others. This can be seen in any species. It could however be several other factors at play:
  • Drainage - are all of the plants in the same growth medium? Is there variance in density?
  • Surface area - do your pots offer consistent surface area for evaporation?
  • Location - are the plants being rotated to receive equal breeze, light, and exposure?
Those are just a few things to consider. If nothing stands out, chalk it up to natural variation.

I would say that all of the conditions you mentioned are for the most part exactly the same.... same pots, medium and lights, etc.... One may get a slightly stronger breeze then the other at any given point but nothing extreme. Ty Mooror for taking the time to respond... natural variation it is:)
