chlorine definitly vapes off. especially in the sun. i think that, with the ph, the runoff will show a different reading than the water you first poured through:clap:

I know what the point of it is but from what I heard you always wanna keep air flowing threw it so it doesn't get stagnant? But also the chlorine would still evaporate out.

I see your point, but if just leaving it for a day, it's not going to get enough harmful bacteria to hurt anything, or attract mosquitos.
I've even gotten busy doing errands, come home tired, and had mine sit 2 days, no big deal.

ordered my growers bible. No worries, hopefully there wont be many more questions to come! lol
Not a problem man.
You're one of the people that it's a pleasure to help.
No arguing, no stupid or redundant questions, and we can tell you have already tried to do your own research, not like some people, LOL
One of the things I use forums for is to save time and actually avoid doing research. I feel pretty good about it.
I will be posting some more questions,
some stupid ones for sure.

Just my opinion, but for a seedling, I would be more comfortable using tap water until she gets established.;-)
Just like you don't want to give nutes for 3 weeks or so, we don't know what all might be in that water.

p.s. pretty sure youve been the one to answer like all of my questions so thanks a bunch man

Just look forward to the end reward!

NO, actually the hardest part is yet to come.
In a couple months, this is going to be you as you sit looking at your sparkly buds waiting for the trichs to finish ripening.Patience9185_zps5ea2b5c5.jpg
THEN........ after a week, you'll be sitting staring at your jars waiting for them to cure doing the same thing.;-)

Forgot man, if you need help posting the big pics, not just links or thumbnails, let me know.
I had a bitch of a time figuring it out when I first got here........
nobody wanted to tell me how and I had to figure it out on my own.

this might sound dumb but, i thought you werent supposed to add nutrients until you put it in the ground? thats one thing i dont really understand because i havnt looked into, but wont nutrients kill my young plants or something and im supposed to put it in a nutrient'-ess soil until the plant is put in the ground? which will be whenever it outgrows the 1 gallon bag or if i decide to, the 5 gallon bag
Sorry man, I missed this one.
I usually start feeding mine, regardless of if I have moved from the Solo cup into a pot or not, around 22-25 days from sprout.
By then they have usually used up any nutes in the soil, and are starting to look hungry.
