Watering/Nute Issues?

Greetings.

I just switched my ladies to 12/12 yesterday, growing from clones. Blueberry and Pre 98 Bubba Kush.

After watering today, they're acting like I kicked them in the vagina. Today made 4 days since our last watering session, so I don't think I'm overdoing it there. Possibly too much nutes? Used about 1/4 tsp/gallon, ph'd to 6.0.

The pic under MH was yesterday as a frame of reference. Sorry for th the HPS pic, but it's what I have for now, girls are currently sleeping (and hopefully not dying).

I would certainly appreciate some help figuring out what I did as well as some suggestions for correcting! Thanks in advance :)

its hard to see from the pics but if you just watered and they look unhappy, and it sounds like your watering at the right time its for sure the nutrients just back off on them some give them alittle less and let the leaves guide you on the amounts given to the plant lush dark green back off on ferts becoming a more lime color give them just alittle more, alittle less is always better than too much

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking nutes too even though I thought I was being conservative. I'll see if I can post a better pic when the ladies wake-up.

to be honest mate, I think they look ok, nice healthy shade of green. The edges are slightly curled upwards possibly indicating heat issues, they do that to conserve moisture.
But apart from that mate, id be happy with em.
The new growth does look 'messy and twisted' but that can be normal, they will straighten up as the plants progress into showing sex and then flowering. Stretch time.
If nute burn the leaves would turn yellow at the tips and progressively get worse.
And I cant see the dreaded Nitrogen claw either, if they had that , they also would be very dark green in colour. Good point tho.

Whats your airflow rate like? are they getting enough fresh air?

In the second pic, the sativa dom pheno on the lower left, that's the claw, if left unchecked it will get worse.

yeah ok to be diplomatic, on zoomed in inspection, she is a bit claw. but a nice colour green all the same.
wouldn't bother me to be honest, as her colour is nice & vibrant.
Each to their own methods tho,. all advice is good advice an all that.

Thanks for taking your time to post!

I have a pic of the nutes I've been using... "Roots Organics" is 2-.25-1.5, used for veg.... "Dyna Gro" is 3-12-6, and was used for the first time today. Again I thought I was being conservative. Would "claw" onset so soon after watering?

Using liquid nutrients was my "stretch" this grow for myself, so I've been intentionally conservative with their use.... Apparently not enough..... Lay off nutes next watering and just bathe them in pure liquid goodness to correct?

yeah bro, give that a go, they're 'weeds' after all, they will bounce back. bottled spring water is good for them once in while, or fizzy spring water, let it sit for a bit tho in the grow area then give it to em straight, get some run off water aswell, ph it to check all is ok.

I have seen this type of clawing before when the soil and roots have been completely dried out to the point that the plant is ready to wilt, then given so much water or nutes that the soil is completely drenched, and the leaves curl down at the tips almost immediately. easy to mistake for over nutes, however you should know for sure within about 30 hours. if the plant has not corrected itself then probably a nute issue, if the clawing went away it's likely just a slight drainage issue, at least that's what I've seen in the past. if it is a drainage issue perhaps consider feeding more frequently using less water or nutes, which ever you are feeding her. overall I think your ladies look great!

Well, folks, looks like some good old-fashioned, nutrient burn. It's not widespread and so far I've only noticed it on a couple leaves, 24 hours later. Will water without nutrients next time around. Rest of the plants seemed to have made the adjustment. Thanks for taking a look.
