Watering Problem

HOw much should i water. i looked in the thread about 101 asked question and it didn't tell me. so i was wondering if anyone can inform me about how much to water. i have 4-4 gallon square pots and they have ff ocean forest and about an 1-2 inches of hydroton clay balls on the bottom. please inform me cause i need to water tomorrow. plants are about 27 days old and they are about 6-8 inches tall except for one 3 incher.

every plant is diff some may drink faster then others i usually water just enough every day except day before i feed them wit nutes. that way they suck shit up quick. just my method may not work for you. but a good rule of thumb to avoid root rot is to wait till top inch or two is dry then water

i look at the thread and it didnt answer my question. should i water a gallon or half a gallon, i dont want to over water and kill them. i usually check the soil with my finger. i measure about 2 inches down. maybe i am just freaking myself out and making it more difficult that what it really is. please inform. and thank you guys for helping. or girls.

yeah bro alot of problems can arise from carin about your plant too much. if it looks dry feed her. also check out the faq on this sight it will answer alot of newb questions...

every plant is diffrent i just water when the first three inches of my five gallon bucket is dry or at least i did now i bought a cheap meter from lowes for ten bucks that measure the moister, soil ph level, and how bright it is in my grow room but when i do water which is like everythree days i just water it enough for a lil bit of water will come out of the bottom. does that help you at all bro??

yeah thanks man. and your suppose to flush ever two weeks. where are you from.

oh yeah and i use tap water so i put it in a a liter soada bottol and i poked holes in the cap with a tack to make a rain effect and it would water even and every night when the lights are OFF i spray them a lil bit with club soda (carberated water) for co2 and for a lil bit of humity which remined me that i shoul do that now lol thanks for the reminder

your welcome. i never thought of that about the soda bottles. thats a good idea. i was just pouring water from a gallon container. what are you growing. if you dont mind me asking

i just moved to missouri from idaho to start growing for my dad since hes always in pain he had 11!!! surgeries last year:neutral:

thats cool, i am just beginning to grow. i am doing it for me most but my really good friend is in pain a lot and i am going to donate some to him and this really really sweet lady i know is going threw kemo and she said its the best thing for her nausea from it.
