watering proplems with new 1000 watt

I just hooked up a new 1000 watt...But know i have to water almost everday,how do you guys do chem schedule.I usaully do water then chem but at this rate it seems to much...temps are warm but not over 80

with my old 400 watt watering was every 3 days

Use bigger containers or add some Miracle-Gro water storing crystals to the soil

if you are using soil, it is okay for the soil to dry out a bit. no need to water everyday.

if u think thats what is needed (must be dry,low rh) then water every day but make sure the pots are dry, not just the surface.

Just use common sense and you will figure out a rhythm. I typically water my dirt girls every other day and feed maybe twice a week. I use FFOF with worm castings and coarse perlite. Just listen to your plants they will tell you what they want.

oh and if you would like an instrument to help you read the soil a moisture guage from home depot or just about any garden store is only about $8
