Watering question!!

I'm in the first week of my grow. When I first planted the seed I made sure the soil was already watered. Now that they've all sprouted out of the soil I water them with a spray bottle keeping the top moist twice a day. I'm wondering should I start actually watering them till I see run off? How often should I water? I don't want to over water since they're so small but I've been told they look kind of dried out. But shouldn't the soil not always be wet? They're still in solo cups btw. Help!!

In a two gallon pot, promix. First watering is a drench. I don't water again for 9-10days. Then it's a light watering. 4-6 cups per two gallon fabric pot. Next watering, 7- 9 days 6 cups per pot. 5 days... Then every two in late flower.

The plants need to be about 5" tall and strong. Woody stem and hardy to take a drench to run off. In the late 3rd to 4th week in veg they can take the flood. Before then and it's officially over watered.

Well they're in solo cups now small like one week small growing under 2 600w led lights. Should I keep just only moistening the top every day with a spray bottle till they're bigger? Or do I pour a little of water in till I see runoff??

Yes on spraying the top. Not so much on run off. How long are you keeping them in cups and what are you putting them in?

I guess till they're ready to transplant? I'm going to put it in 1 gal>3gal>5> and so on depending on space . When should I transplant?

I go from Root Riots (seedling and clones) into a 1qt pot, once I see roots out the bottom, then 3gal, then to 10gal. Water til you see run off then cut back a little on the next watering.
