i just switched my plants into flowering and im gonna be using tiger bloom water soluble nutes, im just waiting for the first week of the light change to be over before i add nutes.
but heres my real question, im using 5 gallon buckets and i never had a set watering scheduel, i would always just water when the soil on top was dry, but since im using nutes now for flower i wanna have a set scheduel for watering,

anybody know a good scheduel of how much water an how many times a week for 5 gal buckets? someone whos used 5 gals would most likely know best

I agree water when dry. If you give a set amount of water every time, it will usually dry out around the same time. I personally have to water every other day. Didnt set it up that way.. just worked out.

true shit it usualy dris out every 3 days or so, the plants are about 22 inches tall i measured it earlier i just switched to flowering under a 150 wat hps so its not very hot in there since its just a 150watt so the moisture takes a little to dry out. ive been using about 2-3 cups of water per watering and thats every 3 days or so, so about 6 cups of water a week roughly

ive heard your soppose to stick your finger in the soil about 2 inches down and it should be relatively dry and thats when you should water,
but ive also heard to water when just the top layer of soil is dry. my theory was if i end up over watering ill also be giving it to many nutes, and if i under water id be giving it to little.
but ill be fine i was just tryin to see if anyone else has some sort of method they use but ill just keep watering the way i have caus everything is coming along perfectly
