Watering schedule top feed clay pebbles?

There ya go, I'm betting it being better then what your dealing with. Definitely post results.
Oh, and this time I used the PHDown bottled phosphoric acid, instead of the white distilled vinegar I'd been using. So far it doesn't seem any different. Latest ph test (9:30 p.m.) was 7.71, after starting (3:00 p.m.) at 5.4. One 10-minute trickle feeding at 6 p.m. Gotta be the airstone...

I'm try to figure out why the air stones would affect the ph. I have heard if you run co2 and air stone that it can be a problem from the co2 filtering into the water but that I've heard about it.

Yeah, found that idea, but doesn't apply here. What I CAN'T find is any science behind the airstone-is-to-blame theory - so far...

Trickling seems to work, so far. I replaced one weak clone and now all three are showing new growth, so they're getting SOMETHING from the trickle. Enough? I don't know, but I just bumped the nutes from 500 to 800 ppm (over the 200 ppm my well water provides). I'll keep inching it up as the plants grow. Since "I don't know what I don't know" this is still a crapshoot - but FUN...
Turn up the trickle bro. the secret is in my signature. The power is in the flow. Thank you. Once you have turned up the flow you can dial in your nutes with a good flow 2.0 EC is easily achievable

So, apparently we're by the ph issues - it's now steady, to trending DOWN.

But I like what's going "down" in the pots (ignore the one on the left - it was taken from a "stretching" early-flowering plant...but I have my hopes for it...
Awesome, looking good brother. Did you ever find out what the ph swing was caused by.

Nah, I DID change from white vinegar to the Ph Down product, which seems to be more concentrated acid, but...? I'm now at 2/3 suggested nute level (vs. Jack's 3-2-1 recs) - and I went from 6X10 mins per day to 6X15 mins.

Plant on the left was liking everything, but seemed to "identify" as a palm tree instead of a hemp plant, lol. She needs to catch up or be the limitation on 'flipping'. I AM stubborn enough to take her out, keep her in veg while the others flower and feed/water by hand from the res....

I have options. Here's what my 31"X31" flowering tent looks like:

I like the structure of that white widow. Looks like some killer smoke. Definitely keep posting results, I'd love to see the outcome.

Thanks, I like to top and bend A LOT - which is tough with hydo (I'm thinking about mods, lol) - and the whole tent MUST be on the same schedule, pretty much. I learned to HATE top-watering (gnats), so everything I do is in search of avoiding it. Maybe too much, lol...

Ive never had gnats problems , what type of lights are you running?

I started with an HLG65 (65w) that came with my first tent. That worked for my first 2 plants, with a lot of turning to expose all the buds. So I upgraded to a Mars TS1000 (165w) and was tooling along fine - then the gnats hit. Decided I'd try hydro (anti-gnat plan) but needed a larger tent, so I got a Mars TSW2000 (300w), which I'm using in my original tent for flowering - and it's FANtastic. The 1000 is in the meter square hydro tent (already planning to get another 2000), and the HLG is in my half-closet "nursery".

bypassing some of the water from your pump to create a waterfall in your res is a good way to make some DO.
I’m about to be doing the opposite... setting up a rdwc and incorporating a drip line to each site to top feed for very early stage where the roots won’t be long enough to reach into the nutrient solution below

Start of flowering week 8. Buds fattening nicely, trichome-rich - even some fan leaves. Planning a few small improvements & have 3 GSC clones rooting for Effort #2.

I'm flowing water with Jack's 3-2-1 nutrients through the perlite back into the res. Do I need to worry about flushing the perlite between grows? After this week the res will be Ph'ed water only, to flush the plants - so I wonder if that'll be enough...

I have a theory about the ph thing. I rinsed the perlite in straight ph 8.0 well water before using it & I think the perlite needed to flush that high-ph retained water out before the ph settled down closer to what the res was sending it. After a few weeks it settled down to 6.0-6.2 and hasn't varied much...
