watering schedule

So I'm still a newbie to this but I know the way I've been watering my plants is wrong but they still survive. I have been letting my pots dry out completely and then water them with 2 gallons of water. I have 7 gallon bag pots. Its too late to change the schedule now since my plants are almost done but I want to know for the next time around.

Well I read somewhere about you should keep the soil moist throughout the flowering cycle?? Just wanted insight on how often ppl water. Right now I'm watering twice a week. Idk if that's too little or not?

twice a wk sounds right.... every 3rd day...i would not keep soil moist...it could lead to root rot...i am on wk 3 of flower....

theres no set watering schedule.
rh temp and airflow will be the biggest factors.
ive done whole grows with no run off ever, grows where i water daily and others where its twice a week. if the plants are happy your doing good.
as a general rule though, no you shouldnt keep soil moist. youll likely run into lockouts, root rot (as mentioned above) and other issues. in the same way ph drift can be good

Ok. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. I've always just gone by the weight of the pot. I'm going into week 6 of flower with the first 2 and the last one is week 5 of flower. Do they look like they are supposed to? The first one had preflowers on it at week 4/5 so its maturing really fast.
