nice i can help with the mycology for sure man and the space will be a small closet/spare bedroom once my roommate moves out that room will be used for cultivation only haha so depending on how much space i need for both hobbies will determine that haha i can take pics when he leaves but thats in a couple weeks

Awesome!, you have a room. You should look into Scrogging, SOG,
also i noticed that herbiesheadshop is in the uk is it safe to order since I'm in the states?
I use them all the time, If your order is "lost" they will send multiples to make sure you get what you paid for. Also you get free seeds with your order, and the option to stealth or extra stealth ship. I use normal stealth because I like the seed containers.

Your going to want to look into;
1. Low stress training, topping, Supercropping
2. Amended Soil, Fabric containers
3.Double sided Poly film, Ventilation and Ducting.
4. take a break,.... smoke a jay.
5. back to it, Lighting, I personally use apollo but they are cheap so I keep extras incase of failure but they have a 3y warranty.
6. Mycrobs, Trichoderma, Soil food web, PH, PPM
7. Watering method and Drain method.
8. Teas.

well i might just have a small closet or maybe 1/2 of the room since ill have my mushroom supplies in there too also i forgot to mention for my first go at growing i was looking for a low budget diy project then once i get the basics down step my game up haha so if SOG is a good start for a noob and not to spendy ill look into it
and whn you order seeds i see they come with 10 are they all female or is just luck of the draw how does that work?
i did read the stealth features thats a badass idea on there part haha

If it just says seeds after, not autoflower or femanized, then they are luck of the draw. You should look at feminized seeds, autos dont yield well

What's your budget? What are your lighting interests ? Cfl? Ventilation? Are you energy efficient? Hps/mh? Hydroponics is the way. Soil indoors, not so great if you have mushrooms growing in the same room. Maybe it works. Idk how to even grow mush. Get a good dwc bucket, 35$ is a reasonable amount for bucket. You'll need nutrients of course. Soil you'll need perlite and all that other mixing stuff. You need to figure out what will work best for you. I would go straight into hydro my friend. I'm infamous for trying to convert people to hydro. Just like PCs got replaced by smart phones, soil is old technology when comparing to new water tech. Well semi new. Look into it man. You have good space, now its all about money and a gameplan. Hmu if youre interested in hydro. I'm not the most experienced or factual guy. But I'm growing my plant In dwc, and so far my baby is looking great. Hmu man, I love teaching people about hydro. If not, these guys will definitely help you with soil if your planning on growing multiple plants, this community always has diverse cannabis growers, so someone is bound to help.

ok well i looked at the dwc tek that vo posted and he said he don't recommend it for a first time grower? also it shouldn't mess with my mushroom growth or the weed growth at all so I'm good there is there, plus I'm not even sure what the best route to go for me since i don't know shit about this hobby I've been reading quite a bit of stuff on here and so far and not really sure what to do since theres a lot of different ways to grow.....my budget lets say a small closet grow nothing like a big ass room with all the crazy ventilation systems and shit ha, lighting um idk whatever you guys recommend for the tek and will benefit my plants to grow healthy

So you're telling me you can't do it? This is my first time growing MJ. And I'm using dwc. Everythingg is going great and I know because I'm the type of person who will try to achieve what the other guys can. I don't let anyone say what I can and can't do. Its up to you man. Hydro is just more fun and makes more sense to me. Soil is old tech. Works great. But I'm more interested in a hobby where I know it'll pay off. You just never know with soil. Plus its pretty crazy if you need to flush and if you get bugs and mold and all that stuff. Nope. Not for me. Wait till you get more opinions man. You will get good results either way.

I went the easy way and bought a General hydroponics water farm. Its not the best now that I know more about the hydro method. Try to make one your own self, if not it will be more. Here's a link to a cheap priced bucket on eBay.http://m.ebay.com/itm/151678258767?nav=SEARCH$_1 (6).JPG its easier to make it. Get a two hose air pump instead. EBay has one for 15. So you can have two air stones or one hose just bubbling water. There are drip methods as well. Which the GH waterfarm I have does. It basically has a ring on the surface that pumps water through tiny holes around the ring. Constantly keeping your pebbles or which ever grow medium you decide. Then you need a drain. Which can be bought too. Its all about if you want it bought or made. Depending on what light source you need. If you go cfl you won't need a duct fan and all that other vent stuff. If you can afford a ballast and ventilation for an Hps/mh setup you can definitely get a better yield. Its more costly but its definitely going to pay off. I'm going to use cfl for veg ( 400w equivalent, 70 something actual watts. ) bought a four pack of 100w cfl equivalent at home depot for 11$. Your best bet would be to see what your budget is. You need nutrients for hydro as well. There are a TON of nutrients and a lot of brands. For on a budget, try humboldt nutrients They habe a nutrient called oneness. Its basically one bottle that has all the nitrients that other 3 part base 3 bottles have. There is a lot of nutrient knowledge you need to know. But its all manageable if youre generally organized in every aspect of growing. I use general hydroponics Flora series Grow, Flora series Micro, Flora series Bloom and floralicious plus. My waterfarm came with gro, micro, bloom. So i just bought floralicioua plus on the side. I am going to try another brand next run. But they all basically work fine, but ofcourse more bottles. Oneness by humboldt is only one and only costs about 16$. An osculating fan works just fine with a cfl setup. And you won't need a ballast if you want more wattage. 800w or higher you might need some more fans. For veg start with bulbs that throw out more lumens and that are cooler in temp. 6400k. Lumens. I can definitely give you way more advice if you need it. Like pH testing your water and ppm measuring and temp control/humidity control. But I rather see what you want to do first. Dwc buckets are for one plant only though. So you will need to buy a bucket for each plant, remember that. Or you can get a bigger bucket that holds more. Up to you. But not recommended due to plants up taking water at different paces. Let me know what you decide on.

Tell them you're growing tomatoes or just giving it as a gift. I live in Texas and when I went to my hydro store they didn't ask me shit. I'm sure the guy knew what was up. They won't mess with you. Money is money.

Your hydro store will have everything you need to make one, if not I'm sure they have some made. The GH waterfarm I'm sure every hydro store has. I got mine from there.
