I use 600 watts led for half the month and my bill jumped up by 40$ power savings my ass!!! I use 24 hours of light, wats urs??

get cfls my bills hasnt changed at all im running 6 23 watts 4 26 watt 1 65 watt and 1 40 watt

I have a key meter or 'Pay-As-You-Grow' as I call it - I have 2 x 125W Fluros, 2 fans, 3 pumps & 400W HPS It costs me about $5 a day (including all the household running costs..TV etc)

I live in the UK my Electric supplier supplies the meter & the key & I just top up the key at my local Post Office whn I'm low on juice

what a lot of people dont understand
600w of power = 600w of power
it does not mater if its a
washer & dryer
fish tank
microwave
space heater
computer
cfl
led
hps
mh
if you running it 24/0-18/6 -12/12 it will cost you
what led's and cfl's try to capatlize on is the fact that they clame to have an equivalent - a 42w cfl is to replace an 150 light - but not for growers
150w hps would give way more light then a 42w led or 42 cfl
now if you put 150w cfl or led in and took out the 150 hps you've done nothing in the way of energy beng pulled on the line
now understand that your 600 w led is made to perform the job of a 2400w lamp if you go off of equivalent - but we dont use it that way in growing - you could never use 4, 42w cfls and say they = 600w hps

Yea true that watt is watt no real savings besides the loss of a ballast wats the going rate for 24 hours of 600 watts for hps?
