Just wondering if anyone has a watt to plant ratio.. As in 250 watts per plant, etc.

If I was to have 30 plants.. How many 1000w lights would it take?

It would take approximately 60 1000w lights to ensure dense buds from top to bottom on 30 plants. 30 for the tops. Then 30 interspersed hanging below the canopy in a manner as to make the light intensity at every angle around the plants equal.

really depends on how small or big you want your plants. If you will grow sea of green style and have hardly no veg time then 1 1k watt light is sufficient. Though if you're looking for 6 foot monsters then i'd say 6-8 just varies man on what you're trying to do. Also a lot of 1k watt light will take major ac to cool down.
