Everclear will ignite when it comes in contact with the burning coil. PG is vaporized to induce emphysema in lab rats and the inhalation of just a few PPM has been strongly linked to adult asthma and other respiratory disorders. VG is just as bad - at temps above 305, like near the 650F+ red hot coil in the O Pens "atomizer", it breaks down into acrolein, the major carcinogen produced by burning cigarettes. Pity, BC VG and PG are what every single e-liquid manufacturer and dispensary that fills "vape" pens use as a base.
Which is silly. Theres no need to mix the oil extract with water or water soluble flavorings, so theres no need to use a dual solvent like PG or VG. Oil dissolves in oil. Just heat up a little EVOO or hempseed oil or soybean oil (not canola!) and melt in your wax. Itll now be the right thickness for your pen to wick it up to its "atomizer". I find a 1 to 1 ratio is nice but you can water it down further to suit your preference. Soybean oil (sold as just vegetable oil in stores) has little to no flavor, hemp is earthy, and EVOO tastes like EVOO. Just stay away from the asthma causing antifreezes, ok? They arent for smoking.
