I'm not sure about the volcano, I've used one before for flowers but never wax. That being said it was one of the best rips I've ever taken and I think worth the investment. Just my opinion.
 
I actually like putting a little on top of my bong tokes... it saturates the herb and it lasts longer... but you do lose some...its more efficient to dab it
 
Oh ya, forgot that method... and it makes the bowls last forEVER!! especially if the wax comes from the strain your burning, really blows up the flavor!

I was doing that with deathstar and triangle kush...double up Flavor i had both strains plus their wax...tasty cakes
 
Yum deathstar... have you tried bio-diesel from 303, its like deathstar but w more of the deathstar flavor, and you can grow from seed so no worries about pm hiding out in the clone... just a thought.. its one of my favorite strains ever... their G6 is incredible too...

Should grab a pack or two... I think kind love has a few strains... yo budpatch, where are you guys stocking right now, green grass in central city still? Last time I picked up beans that's where I got em from, cool spot and I even got a 6 pack of ski patrol!

i did it, umm, im not toally sure if its correct
i used power x5 butane, and a glass tube from wildfire glass
i went through almost 6 ounces of a mixture of trim and a little bit of bud
i only recieved about 9 grams of wax, im wondering if this is normal quantity of 6oz or if i waisted a lot??

also i went thorugh 9 cans of 300ml butane

I have noticed a variety of colors and textures of waxes that were made exactly the same way, only different strains. The color and texture doesn't have too much to do with potency, it varies with strains as well.

Pay no attention to smoking crack, I mean bull. Your yeild sounds about right. Youll learn w time. How big is the tybe your using, what type of trim, it also sounds like you may have packed it pretty tight... any pics I could see cuz wo pics its kinda hard to diagnose where your doing well and where I could help w your technique. Congratz in giving it a try tho, I know its intimidating to attack the first couple of runs, but youll get it for sure. And for real fuck the haters, we all encounter them in all walks of life... let them waste time telling you your screwing up, and then laugh in their face. Pics pics pics, well get ya figured out. Chef-
 
And ps smoking bullshit doesn't have kurple, I know the proprietor and he hasnt given it to ANYONE.

alright so little confession
i tried using a spinpro to do some trimming, on one of my plants it was devouring my buds and thats how the mixture of trim and buds became
the plant was Full Moon, a sativa dom plant, and yea i did kind of pack it at the start, but when i would try and knock out the trim n buds to put more in the tube it would be kind of stuck, so towards the end i quit packing it
so with the process, i got a pyrex dish and took everything out into my shed, um.. yea pretty much just did the process, then i bring it into the house where i had a skillet with water sittin in it, heated it up a bit, not boiling but where i could stand having my finger in the water for about 10 seconds. put the dish in there, scooped, or atleast i tried to scoop everything into the middle with my old drivers license, but it was a pretty difficult task imo. anyway after it was in the middle i just took a paper clip and bent it so it was lengthy and whipped it
from the looks of yours, i may have cooked it too long
also this pic wasnt right after the process, i had to try it out and share with friends an fam, but it was around 9.1-9.3 grams total
any help appreciated!
 
You're doing fine. Its a learning process. Matter fact you did a great job for your first run
