That's a lot to ask of one person, no? There are laws in this country that i despise, but overturning them is easier said than done. The Controlled Substances Act remains in force, and even more offensive to me are state laws permitting/authorizing that prison inmates be charged a per diem for room&board. That is just so obviously corrupt to me, but mine is one voice. cn
Laws don't get overturned in the USA, they stay on the books but are just ignored. Its a lot like the US constitution in that regard. It is VERY difficult and takes a bunch of work to repeal a law. Politicians are not accustomed to doing work.

and down goes ANOTHER one.

This thread is Bucks attempt at using a tragedy to "bait me" into going mental.

Sadly for him I don't disagree if the facts are as he states them, noone knows when sepsis set in in this case, so let this 1* (and obvious troll attempt) be hijacked.

I'm pro choice, but the law here states no removal of the foetus until the heartbeat is gone.
she was obviously having a miscarriage. dude. i mean, duuuuude. it was fucking obvious by any medical standard anywhere, much less a very well developed and progressive nation like yours.

you fuckers define it by heartbeat? and make no exception for health of the mother, only life? and you have never legislated where health ends and the mother's life is lost?

i truly believe you are indeed pro choice, but at heartbeat? that could happen before the mother even realizes that she has missed her period FFS.

you guys have got to get it together over there. one of the doctors just told this lady who was obviously miscarrying anyway that it was a catholic country, tough shit.

i mean, hay-zeus christo.

Not only that UB she was a dentist she knew what was happening to her body. The doctor could have been a hero instead he let her die and she knew it.

These people could have been a catalyses for change.

Oh she was a DENTIST was she?

Well spank my arse and call me Charlie.

A woman died, it was a tragedy and we all know the law has to be changed.

Yet...we're still not bombing families intentionally (in an allied country ffs).

Suck it Winter Cunt.

I read that too. What a lot of Holier than Thou Asses. I have a lot to say and it isn't nice. I'm a Christian and I believe that abortion is a decision only a woman can make and should be made without interference by anyone, no matter her decision.
Then stop backing a jackasshole party that would do the same damned stupid stuff and more here! Don't stay a frigging idiot all your life. When you buy part you buy the parcel. Good Jesus.

They might still be. It is a sad comment on human nature that folks love martyrs. cn
