Yield depends on several factors, such as light (lumens), strain (genetics) and grower skill.

Hello Mr. GOON

Once you have mastered the (4) cornerstones of growing...

you can begin to supplement your grow with "steroids"

Steroids is a metaphor for advanced growing techniques..

an example would be Co2...

Now what are the cornerstones of being a great grower..

1. PH - KNOW how to PH your water with your eyes closed. Realize that 99% of all problems are PH related.

2. Ventilation - Having fantastic air flow... This depends on the size of your garden, number of lights etc.. a simple breeze through an open widow facing the pacific ocean may be enough.. BUT you must have "ENOUGH"..

3. WATERING and FEEDING... recognizing when to water and feed your lady.. maximizing the amount of water and nutrients she can handle without ever going over her limit.

i am very curious about cutting off all of the leaves during flowering stage to maximize energy to the buds, while giving stress to the plant for max yields. i have heard this from a friend, and am very curious as to if anyone has had luck because i am considering

What are some ways to increase the yield of the plant?
Look up scrog posts by rumpleforeskin on grasscity. Guys a genius when it comes to simplicity. No trimming. Just a reference point that supports branches slightly and gives one a sea of proportional colas.

The plant can only live up to it's potential when all conditions are "ideal". There are six general areas that you must master in order to give the plant everything it needs - these are the "Limiting Factors". Learn everything you can about these 6 things, I can't stress this enough!
1. Growth Medium
2. Nutrients
3. Water
4. Light
5. Temperature
6. Atmosphere

There are also two areas of knowledge that you must master in order to make use of the Limiting Factors.
1. Controlling the Ph factor
2. The lifecycles of the Cannabis plant itself

That's it, become fairly well versed in these eight areas and get a little experience under your belt and you too, can be an expert!

can anyone help me out with bestway to increase my yeild.
yes stop looking for tricks and get more lighting your yields increase as you get more grows under your belt. Stop looking for tricks and get a bigger light and you will get more out of your plants. Beyond that read more the people that look for the tricks are the same ones in the plant problems wondering whats wrong. Your not even done growing and your looking for more, the bigger light is the simplest way to get more.If your not using HID then go get one http://www.dchydro.com/category/BST0/Grow-Light-Ballasts/

NOt one person asked you what type of light your using; Without knowing all these other suggestions are great but useless if your not going with the bigger light. If your plants are growing right now then your doing fine get a bigger light adjust the height and then look into some of the other suggestions.

I have recently been reading the british version of high time weed world. In there, there is a section on this called sesi seals ex seals who have come back from the war zones to no job and needed to make a bit of extra cash i have realy picked some great tips from these guys who are also on you tube at www.sensiseals.com.The section that i have been messing around with is the use of root stimulants during the last few weeks of growth.I have been adding a little superthrive to the nutrients and it realy has increased the yeilds by up to 20%.I know what you are thinking how can a drop of superthrive per litre of water with nutrients bulk the final bud that much.I think the way it works is that it tricks the plant into produceing more thc glands and by doing this this bulks the buds out causing them to be rock hard. But there is a drawback with this method and that is the weed becomes a little harsh and it seems to go out far more than it normaly would. So i went back to a method that i used to do a few years ago and it has worked has it did then.I add 1 teaspoon of granualted sugar to about a gallon of feed then ph it and feed the plants. It is unreal what this little added extra can do the buds shine like diamonds.I use this from about week 6 to week 7 that is all you can use mallases but some has added salts and i would rather stick to the sugar.Mallases is just consantraed sugar any how and you can sometimes do more damage than good. Also if a plant is a 8 week strain then i would leave it a week or two extra this will increase crystal production know end.But all the methods that i have mentioned will not work unless the plants are grown right get the lights has close to the tops of the plants has possible. If the lights are far from the tops then this will drasticly effect the yeild. You need to be realy close so that the internodes are close thus causeing then to join and the buds will become far more compact and weighing far more....................tyke..............................................................

Read the same article four weeks ago and started using the disolved sugar with my feedings. They said 20% and they were right. In week 7 of flower and cant believe the visible difference. Im under 1-1000w HPS in 5gallon pots and water once a week or as needed. In that article that had pics of one plant that got the sugar and one that didnt and their was a visible difference in bud size. Sugar is cheap!! Why not folks!!

I read the other day that when you water your plants the PH should be 5.8 (since thats the PH of rain water) and when feeding nutrients the PH should be 6.5-6.8 for soil, Is the 5.8 PH for watering correct?

cutting the leaves off while flowering is a no no the plant isnt able 2 take in light or oxygen and it could stress it 2 death the best way is 2 leave it 2 do its own thing only take off leaves that r 50% or more damaged hopes this helps

Totaly, photosynthesis man. Adding more light and ventilation will add yield but it's pointless if you cut away the plants means of harnessing all that extra carbon and light. Let the leaves fall away naturally as they get deprived of nitrogen.
