Ways to lower PH

Hey was discussing with my roomate the other night about what you could do to lower the ph of the soil and water *mines at 7 neutral*, and just to lower it a bit, he said add some orange juice to the water and i tested it and it worked....but would this harm my plant in anyway.....or anyone know any better ideas? *and besides ph lowering solution*

how much should you use per galon or whatever if you want to say lower your ph by 1 point

i dont even know that, most people say they use alot of water when watering, im in flowering and i only use about 1 gallon for a 5gal bucket and see runoff...ill let ya know what i add to mine to lower the 1 point....i water again in about 2 -3 days
