Place them by your job. I work where we have 4 warehouses in a 3 sq mile area. There are plenty of areas around my job where no body pays attention, cameras dont show, you can peak on the plants all the time without really getting close (I carry binoculars in my car all the time) and there are probably a couple hundred people that work there so it is easier to avoid blame. Or if you live close to a military base, find a good spot on the base, and plant there. You have to be careful coming and going on a military base though. Large power lines are good places too, but a lot of state and town government mow the power lines for maintenance. I have always been told pine trees are bad for outdoor because of low pH.
