I did try the paper towel way with the bag seed and they never cracked, the towel kept drying up while I was gone. When I put the bag seed in a cup o water they cracked in 48 hours or a bit less. I haven't tried the seed bank seeds in the paper towel way. I still have 6 left. I will give it another try!

I'm a "new gal" here, and although there are (of course) "old boys" who are familiar with each other, it's by no means a clique. As a matter of fact, this is by far the friendliest site in which I've ever participated, and I've been to more than my share throughout the years (as well as run and/or modded quite a few). Keep in mind that the vast majority of stoners are easy-going, laid-back people who aren't into picking fights, but are well-known for making joking jabs at each other.

I can see why the labels on SICC's setup would have appeared to be CDs and/or CD labels, but also keep in mind that this is the "AeroGardeners" forum category, so it's generally assumed that most, if not all, people reading the posts in this section of the site have seen the AeroGarden and therefore the labels included in the seed kits.

SICC spoke truthfully when he said, "My rep and post count isnt that high from puttin down new people." Just take his "joking jabs" (and anyone else's, as well) with a grain of salt, because that's all it is around here from what I've seen and experienced so far. This is a very "safe" site; i.e., it's not a Troll Breeding Ground. ;) It's all good, so relax and kick back and enjoy the ride. 8)

Whats good all? Jus took some pics of my girls, Adjusted the pH, and i planted another seed. the other OGK one rotted and died, so, from the 5 i had, its basically 2/5 that germinated, but its all good, the seed i planted was from the random medical seeds i got from a club i go to, so im excited to see how she will turn out.​

Ive had that happen man. My current grow actually. IM sure ue gonna be fine. One seedling took about a week to pop its head above the spounge and another couple days before it opened up to sprout its wings. Its still growing diferently. No down roots just filling up and popping out the side bro. They will be fine mang. Keep ur ph on point is all u gotta worry about right now.
Interesting Sicc I like what i see on the water level. It may help to raise it a little to get more root action from the plugs. At this point my water level is about a half inch from the bottom of the pots. It helps force more roots from the pots to the water which brings faster growth from the plants. Id have my PPM around 5 hundred or so see what they do.
Im watching tho. I like what ur doing i play with my levels like that too.

haha well the growing Medium is jus a sponge, basically Rapid Rooters :mrgreen:

I have 4 plants in the system, 2 Bubba Kush, 1 OG Kush, and 1 Random Medical Seed, which im now calling Fro Berry™


pH is always adjusted to 5.7 or 5.8, I have one 10 inch Air Stone, not checcing water temp, its a lil bit cooler then room temp, I actually have a piece of glass which came from a picture fram, that keep under the bin, myabe a ghetto cooling system? haha idk kiss-ass

Yo SICC, I know there's a million noobs out there askin the same question, but I've checked out your posts and you seem pretty helpful as well as knowledgeable.

Here's the deal. I'm planning on buying the Aerogarden delux (for the extendable arm as well as more light), simply because:

1.) I'm a noob and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing other than what I've read, lol.
2.) The Aerogarden seems pretty damn simple.
3.) I only have one, maybe two, spots to grow.

Is it completely retarted of me to think I can grow a decent plant in the Aerogarden alone?

Is there anything specific from your experience with the Aerogarden I should know about as far as growing?

Keep in mind that for now, this will be for personal use as opposed to commercial.
