I dunno what the declaration of independence and the framing of the constitution were about unless it addresses the above issue.
Diff was in dark ages, call it the age of monarchy, nobody could read/write, so monarchs told us what to think. They were totalitarianly in control of our thinking. Now that there's almost 100% literacy in at least the West, we have at our finger tips/thumbs, all the information we need to make informed decisions. But do we? Now we're totalitarianly controlled by that same kind of aristocracy. Instead of kings, now they're called CEOs.
