We have a GIRL!!!

Hi all,
Ok so we have a girl! Excitement abounds lol! Now my question for the moment is do I leave my lights on a 12/12 from here on out or do I go back to a 24/7 veg cycle? I know pics are helpful so I'll work on getting that up. This is a soil grow using 1 400watt MH till now. I have a HPS bulb that fits the ballast to switch out the MH, is this the time to do that? More questions will be forthcomming now that I finally have a girl baby to work with. Thanks folks!

you have changed the light cycle to 12/12, right? you should keep it that way!!!

Ok will do. 12/12 it is. Now my grow partner is of the mind that we can keep this plant going for a long time, like after she does her flowering thing she can be put back into veg and do the same thing again. I've never done that and it sounds strange to me but can you do that? We've been thinking about cloning and my pard wants to do everyone in the same space but ya cant do that either I thought without partitioning the space? Different light cycles and such was my thinking. Anyways thanks for any advice. Lights are out so no pics today....tommorow hopefully. Peace.

yeah, you can reveg.... after taking the buds off, put the plant back into 24/0 light for a while, once you see new growth, you can move it back to 18/6 again.

your right, different light cycles as flower is 12/12 and veg is 18/6.......

Also this is the time to go ahead and switch the light bulb out? I have a HPS bulb that fits the MH ballast. I'm still waiting on one plant to declare itself without question. Might could be male but waiting another day or so to be sure. I got 2 different strains going. You'll see when I get pics. Peace.

switch to the HPS when flower, so if you've got your lights on 12/12 then yes, put the HPS in.... then when you want to reveg the plant, put the MH back in.

Ok cool. Thanks a bunch. They arent flowering yet, just declaring what they are so I didn't know if I should put 'em back into veggin or let 'em go hence my question about the light cycle. Like I said one hasnt shown her/himself conclusively. Soon as that happens I'll switch out the light I reckon. Peace.
