The price will drop significantly in California just like it did in Oregon and Washington. In Portland you can get grams for $4. Most dispensaries have special events, with freebies and giveaways to get people to come to them. I've even seen them having free barbecue with a grill out front with a bunch of stoners standing in line to get a free bratwurst. There are almost as many dispensaries in Portland as there are Microbrew Pubs so it's a pretty competitive industry. It's a consumers market. The prices in California will go down in time.

4$ a gram for garbage weed. I’m in central Oregon . In a university city where there is a pot shop or 2 every corner. I see deals for $4 grams of weed and it garbage. Embarrassing to put on display. When I see a shop try to hustle out obvious crap like that I make a note to never patronize from them. All the so called deals at rec pot shops always seem to be the stuff they can’t moved, just like at most retail stores. Paying the extra few bucks for top shelf is def worth it. You won’t need to smoke as much because it gets and keeps you high longer.

Can get 3euro a gram moroccan or somthing in amsterdam, i know its solid/hashish or what ever the fuck you call it but there has been some cheap weed about for years.
Most in Amsterdam ditch the skunk for the solid after enough time, i myself find it a far better smoke if you want quality

I didn't say it was good. I don't buy from dispensaries because I grow my own. But there are many people out there that don't and the $4 garbage weed is good enough for them or it's all they can afford. Regardless, there is a glut of pot in both Oregon and Washington which is driving the prices down. Even the good stuff is cheaper than what it was on the black market and that was one of the reasons for legalization. There really isn't a black market that I know of. All the illicit pot dealers have had to find other sources of income. The same thing will happen in California.

Rec stores in my area don’t sell bubble hash . I would pay $25 for a gram of good bubble hash, 75 micron Gold , if it was available. Once cali stabilizes I doubt they will get lower then what Or charges a gram for top shelf flower. cA loves to charge higher prices then ave across the board for Everything it seems.

#1: NO, they won't! Not at all! The notice of Sessions rescinding the Obama directive, is the warning.
#2: Dispensaries first and commercial grows at about the same time......
They will not find guns and "other drugs" at dispensaries! Not at compliant commercial ops either.

You might be right, but you hear it here and on youtube all the time. People protect their grows with guns. Some of those are "legal" growers.
As for other drugs at dispensaries, I got that part from our neighbors up north. I think I also heard about it in MI. Both Canada and MI cracked down on dispensaries. There were several reports of other drugs being found, though no specifics. So maybe a budtender had some personal use drugs in their pocket or locker and that made headlines. Who knows. But it does show you how they will spin what they find.
You are correct though, if they are "compliant" operations, they won't have guns or other drugs. That by definition would put them out of compliance.
It is all propaganda at that level. And they will maximize it.
