you would need a pile of batteries the size of a small truck to run a 1000w lamp for a single day. even if you could get the power so you only had to visit once a week, you need to visit your grow more than once a week.

this is ridiculous, you cant grow weed with batteries OR headlights.:wall:

its been tried and it didnt work worth a damn. even if the light did grow dope, the battery will only power it for less than an hour without a charge.

you get a couple points for trying, but seriously get your own place to grow.

It would be cheaper to rent your own apartment than to buy all the solar/wind stuff you'd need. I don't know what rent is where you live but here it would cost over 10k for a basic wind/solar system but you'd need a huge one, probably more like 50k or up.

well you can buy a power inverter. from wal-mart for a reasonable price to. most of those power inverters have auto shut offs to for if your battery gets drained to low. im not sure how long a battery will last running so much power with the vehicle turned off but maybe its possible for you to start and run the vehicle on at least a daily basis? heres a quick example of what im talkin about...

ofcourse a car battery is only 12volts though compared to a household outlet of 120 volts. im not no electrician or nuthin but i have owned a 100 watt power inverter for my car and it never drew to much power from the battery to cut off the power.

dont encourage him, its not going to fucking work.

even if it would work its unethical, he wants to grow inside a property of his parents without thier consent. 18 or not hes a fucking kid whos got no right to try what he proposes

You have to build a hidden grow cabinet using a old computer case ar anything like this and put compact-fluos (daylight) and computer fans...

does the caravan take car batterys to run it aswell or isit just mains power from your gaff?
