Weed in backyard in mason jars.

Could i leave my tree in the backyard in mason jars? Will my tree get dry and brittle or still remain sticky and fresh? I live in a cold area were temperature drop to 30degrees on some nights. Thank you rollitup~

I believe storing the bud cold will actually help preserve the potency, and as long as the jars are airtight, you shouldn't have problems with it drying to brittle. If it's still moist, don't forget to burp it though, as you run the risk of mold.

Yeah the above post is right in saying that it does act as a preservative, but dude seriously make sure it is dry and properly cured otherwise you'll just mess up the lovely mj.

The only thing I'd worry about is light, I'm not sure, but leaving bud in the sun just sounds bad to me. Of course, if you leave it somewhere locked up or something outside like you probably should anyway I see no problems

Water is already in your jars if your bud is any kind of wet.. you gotta open the jars for a few minutes a day/ every once in a while or you run the risk of mold

Light will degrade the thc, so keep them in dark.

Why do they have to be outside now?

put them in a box or something if you have to keep thenm out side, deff burp them daily till properly cured, as far as temps go, if its at or near freezing tempature just let it return to average room temp before handling and you'll be fine
