Weed looks good but has bad taste and not so good smell

Hi guys,

First of all, congrats for such a cool community and forum.

Guys, I just don't know where to turn to too... I'm getting desperate. I've been growing indoors in a 4x4 tent and all of my last crops have all ended up the same.
The buds tend to come with a lot of trichomes and with a nice aspect to them, but upon starting the curing process over on jars a few days after the weed begins to present a smell that is not tasty and if I try to smoke I'll not feel any taste or pleasure out of it. This is my 4th crop that stayed the same, and I do not know what else to do.

First I've thought it could be the nutrients. I have always used natural nutrients, namely Bio Bizz. But when this started to happen I was using Atami. So I thought it could be due to these nutrients and avoided using them on this last crop. The thing is... it just came out the fucking same....

Has anyone already gone through this sort of issue??? Any suggestions????

Have you had this experience with different varieties, or have you grown from the same seeds? Genetics matter a lot. But too much unknown here also. You might have harvested early. You might have dried too fast or jarred too wet. Who knows? Pics?

This has happen with several strains and different grow houses...
My set up viparspectra 230W ; air circulation is plenty, but humidity is a lot of the times high

Immature buds. Next crop post some pics here and ask for advice on when to harvest. I promise your next crop will be better if you get them over the finish line.
Well I actually would go more for the "it was harvested way later than they should...." Been growing for years and never had such issues... This only happened when I moved to a different house and started to use Atami. Could mold that was unlooked make the weed have a different almost rancid smell?

My guess from to pics would also be too early harvest, which will kill flavor and buzz of course. Pic 3, for example, would definitely be way early for harvest and also looks to be suffering from nute deficiency, lock out or some such issue. The dried buds look like they could have filled out quite a bit more, though I’d expect them to produce at least a mild buzz. Just basing things on pics, and I’m certainly a novice compared to some here. I don’t see mold, though dying leaves in a humid envi can definitely cause issues. Let them swell. Wait for all pistils to turn brown and then to pull into the swelling calyxes. Sorry if this is all familiar to you. My experience is that waiting (and a proper dry and cure) definitely enhances the flavor profile.
