If you grow in Colorado and intend to share some of what you grow, you better be on your game because if your not growing top shelf, your going to be making a lot of hash.
Dispensaries run specials all the time for Ozs for $180.00 - $200.00. Most are mids, but you can get top shelf for $250.00.
Most people don't use the dispensaries, because there is so much weed readily available so if your selling, your smoke better be outstanding because the guy's next door probably is.

Honestly, I don't wanna be THAT guy, but you guys need to talk some sense into this guy. Seriously, it sucks even more b/c I don't live in a medical state and seeing people like this posting online how to go about selling green that he grows legally. This is one of multiple reasons why states don't want to legalize it. They know that there's a handful of people who take advantage of it and try to sell it and what not. Yeah its fine if you take the card to grow legally (FOR YOUR OWN PURPOSES NOT TO BECOME THE NEXT KINGPIN) but when you make it your priority to grow then sell it on the streets that just stupid. My gf has lupus and its not legal here to get MJ, so seeing you tryna do this kinda pisses me off.

Exactly.....ive not seen anybody ever on here talkin abt growing and selling...until now....if u didnt figure and already know how it works and that the prices have dropped in legal states then I promise ur not gonna succeed hustling weed...game over before it even started.

Dude, I'm with you on this. I don't give a crap about who grows for what reason. But I do care that in medical states (and soon all states) MJ be as cheap as it possibly can be. People who are sick are often poor as well, and it's a crime to charge them street prices for a drug that should be subsidized by prescription benefits the same way pharma drugs are. If MJ were $40 an ounce, I'd be thrilled.

Sorry if that puts the schemers out of business. But where I come from it's unethical to profit from someone else's pain.

The shakeout of MJ growing as a legit industry is going to be very interesting to watch...its hard to charge a lot of money for something people can grow themselves for close to free.

How about since this in Newbie Central I'm gonna assume the OP is a newbie, so at that point my best advice would be CONCERN YOURSELF WITH GETTING THROUGH THE HARVEST, THEN DRYING, THEN CURING!! Counting your chickens before they hatch is a waste of time!! Get through one phase, then the next, etc. When your bud is all nice, dried, and cured, and you've set aside enough for your personal smoke, and you happen to have some left over, at that point worry about selling it, if at all!!! I stock pile my leftovers for a rainy day, never sell it.

Yea I feel you. Especially when people who actually ARE sick can't get MMJ b/c of few people who want to illegally sell MJ that they've LEGALLY grown. It's so stupid. I'm not saying im 100% legal with what I do. But I don't intend to ever sell my grow. Sure you'll smoke some of your friends out, but that's really as far as it'll go.

$40/oz would be the day... =). MJ is all political... Been watching/reading too much stuff about it.

sucks pa still charges 50-60 for 1/8 of top shelf.and sometimes its not top and still they charge for 60

$120 CDN for 1/2 oz, $200 oz in major cities in Alberta Canada.

$140/$220 respectively in Toronto, Canada.

Very top quality weed at that.

My girl who has a daughter licensed in Cali confirmed that for top-shelf is $300-$350 oz last year, so this sounds legit.

That is a fairly accurate price range here. Not sure about that $1000 price in Greeley - Half a pound maybe for that price. Pound is about $2000 - $2500+ depending.

Trust me, its legit If your looking for top of the line stuff like Kosher Kush, Chem, Cookies, Star Dawg etc you will be paying. Most mids are in the 200$ range an oz.

U dont sell weed to make money u sell to smoke the extra for free.

The real story here is that there is a website that catalogs weed prices!!!

It depends on the legal status in your state, abundance of weed, quality, strain, demand, etc. I live in Cali where you can buy weed of Craigslist. Generally the dispos are pricier because they have a store location that has overhead (around 330-400 per ounce). Also for weed to be sold in dispos it generally has to be of higher quality than what your average hobby grower can produce. I've found a lot of the stuff sold privately for under $200/ounce is outdoor or greenhouse grown mj. We also have labs here where you can take your dried buds in and they will test it to verify chemical content.

Grow weed sell weed smoke weed my girls farther has als he wants me to set this up for him since I'm the only one willing and he can't do it because he is wheel chair bound this is why I'm growing weed in the first fucking place and it's not even just me who wants to sell it he does to he used to grow back in the day before weed was even decriminalized in any state witch is the only reason I'm made this page and yes selling weed does help him because he is in a wheel chair and can't fucking work

If you really wanted to help your dad, ok grow some grass for his disease. But if you were smart, you'd know that growing that shit, you're eventually gonna run into some trouble. Already sucks he's in a wheelchair. It'd suck even more if he was in jail in a wheelchair. And you'd be too prob. If you wanna help him, look around for benefits he can get for that stuff.

It's not my dad it's my girls father and in my state it's a misdominor to posses less than fifty pounds and it's a felony if its more granted it all has to be in no more than three bags because anymore than three bags is distribution so that's how they get you I just grow three strians and keep them all in the same bag /jar and trust me if I was to be charged with a misdominor the judge would laugh and give me probation they would say wow this time only a misdominor they would prob be proud lol the laws not a concern to me I have never even seen a cop drive down my street and I can legally grow up to eight plants in this house or some shit like that if the dispensers droped there prices or even opend up in this state since its been almost a year since the law was past and not one store maybe I wouldn't have to but then Agian it sux because it doesn't matter how much weed he smokes he is still going to die from this bullshit disease that has no cure ...trust the pharmacy costs and everything he needs to survive everyday takes a toll with a limited income for people like us it's worth the risk
