Weed that taste like....

Are their any types of weed that taste like key lime pie or even just plain limes? Smelling of limes? Lime-ish?

Lemon skunk comes to mind. Not too sure bout limes though.

Think you would have to breed one yourself, as i've never seen a lime strain whilst searching, but if you do, let me know. Nothing beats lime

This first strain is the closest I know for Lime, but Subcool (TGA) has a few other strains with a strong lemon taste:

Chernobyl: Taste Like Lime Slurpee or Lime Sherbert

Jack The Ripper: Extreme Lemon taste and smell

Jack's Cleaner 2: Lemon and ground coffee aroma

Pandora's Box: one pheno is called Cherry Lethal lemonade

Vortex: Smells like Mango Snapple with lemon/ Taste like sweetened lemonade.

I'm currently growing a strain called "Key Lime Pie". Excited to see how it turns out.

Pandora's box as stated above has a cherry lime pheno but the truth of the matter is all herb tastes damn near the same once you burn it and it's never as good as the smell

well I disagree, the jack herer I have tastes like it smells, and it's profoundly different than "normal" tasting pot.
Even the smoke smells different than normal pot, same with my BlueDream, I've had many different types of tasting herb.
I get where you are coming from, though, i'd say 95% of herb is really similar in appearance smell and taste, but really, after all, there are only two species of pot worth smoking so undoubtedly they are going to be somewhat similar, and NO I don't count ruderalis, just sativa and indica.

There are some cuts of Ghost Train that I have had that had a lime smell and taste.

i kick anything out of my crop that doesn't taste how it smells

There are some that have a taste that carries through. after all much of taste is actually derived through smell... Delahaze has a strong minty feel to the smoke og puts a strong taste into the first few hits... But overall once you smoke the first hit or two it starts to just taste like, well, weed lol.. and many just have a taste of one variation of weed or another..i would just personally never make that a defining decision on if i grow something since you're never going to grow purple poptart and actually feel like you just ate a poptart.. the taste of smoke can never live up to just sticking a lime in my mouth after I'm done smoking if i want lime flavor lol

Get yourself one of these and you will taste the true flavor of the terps.

Disclaimer - You have to hover the herb iron over top of your weed without letting your weed actually combust to get the tasty hit off the top of your bowl. (most people who own one of these don't know about this trick and go straight to torching the bowl, missing out on the wonderful flavor they can produce)

East Coast Sour Diesel Haze by Connoisseur Genetics. Had full lime flavors on half the phenos if your into that flavor, personally not a flavor i like myself.

I had this strain from clone at a local collective, elemental wellness. It was key lime cookies, tasted like lime flavored fruit loops on the smoke and key lime cookieish to the aroma of the growing buds, so tasty. Picked up some before I grew it, the stuff came like i had remembered when it was cured, but it was fire indeed.

It originates in mexico, every time we see a lime brick we jump on it. They are long flowers 18-19 weeks, range from crayola type waxy to straight lime juice. Real racy, great high. Sometimes you can find a candy lime that's been crossed with a lower mexican, they taste of melons and has a shorter flower time


I feel bad for you bro, maybe work on your cure. My bud taste like straight lemon heads down to the last puff, or grape, or blueberry. Or my favorite sour garlicy. I've had bud I threw away it tasted so strongly yet fowl, of seared pork fat and rosemary. So astringent and thick almost like a cheese strain..

Is lime distinct from lemon? Plenty of lemony strains around..

I done Chernobyl and every pheno was different,

I did have a very zesty lime pheno amongst others but it wasnt the most commen one

that's kinda retarded.. different nutrients produce different or more or less potent smell and tastes.. a lot of the time when the smell doesn't turn to taste its from too much nutes.. or not dried or cured properly.. or nutes.. I had 1 plant that tasted and smelled like coffee when using BIOCANNA.. but when I did half my room with fox farms with the soluble 3 pack.. and the other bio canna with additives.. the biocanna transferred the smell to taste almost identically .. but when I tried the fox farms.. it brought out such a different terpene profile and even the buds looked different.. people had no clue that it was the eXACT SAME CLONES..

also.. ive found a lot of the sweet skunks.. or long flowering hazes seem to have that citrusy lime taste and smell to them.. I have an original haze that goes 18 weeks flower.. that stinks like orange peels..
