weeds stages

How can i tell by looking if my planet is in the veg stage and how can i tell if its ready ot get out of the veg stage?
how do i know if my plants are out ready to bud?

Veg just means that you have longer light periods. like 16-18 hours or even 24 hours of light. The plant will stay in veg as long as you leave it like that.

If you leave them in veg long enough they will mature and show "preflowers" but won't make bud.

After preflowers have appeared the plant is ready to be flipped to 12/12 and flowered.

what do preflowers look like? i looked it up i see what u mean but when i see this usually it just turns into another leaf.
So my question is, does it stop making leafs to start producing flowers?

it starts making flowers once u change the light schedule well actually like 2 weeks after u change from veg lighting 18-6 to flower lighting 12-12 after about 2 weeks of 12 hours light and 12 hours of darkness u should see flowers but these are NO WHERE NEAR READY most plants take at least 8 weeks of 12-12..... i suggest u just start reading alot sticky's usually have the best info but may not always apply to ur grow i would read alot more info im assuming u have no experience considering ur question dont get discouraged just read more before u ask....

and no it never stops making leaves they grow in with the buds
