weeGROW mini fridge stealth box and Veg box

Hello all, I wanted to share my latest project and get feedback from you all. I have attempted the ol'mini fridge stealth box grow and decided to try and take it a step further than what I have seen available on line. I made two units the 1st being the flower box I named the Delta9 or D9 and the second is a veg box the THC1. The D9 interior plastic has been cut out and the foam shaved down. I grooved the foam to run all the cords so they sit flush and completely covered with a Mylar bubble insulator. The door shelf has been removed and saved to bolt on the side of the unit as a storage for nutrients, spray bottles etc. There are two light sockets running CFL 85 watt bulbs at 5700 lumens and 5000k. There are two sets of super silent brushed aluminum dual fans the top being the larger Dual 120's for exhaust at 104 CFM and lower smaller dual 80's at 60 CFM for intake also there is an auxiliary fan conveniently powered by the Dual 120 fans USB connection. I installed a personal humidifier, thermometer/hygrometer, timed power strip and a little elbow grease and voilà. The veg box or THC1 as I like to call it is not gutted out it still has the inner plastic liner and shelf's to use for raising and lowering the plants in there different growth stages. I used smaller computer fans and not as much Mylar as the first box but more less I fashioned a hood. There is only one light socket with the same bulb as the D9. I have ran both boxes and temps are in the sweet spot running flawlessly I have to say I am satisfied :hump: with this little build. Thanks for looking IMG_20130218_115605.jpgIMG_20130218_123621.jpgIMG_20130218_115623.jpgIMG_20130208_223954.jpgimage_5.jpgimage.jpgIMG_20130218_123629.jpg

Good job Looks Very nice. I would say if you can use a Y and 2 bulbs instead of one without making the room to hot you should do so. Otherwise maybe you can find a way to adjust the height of your bulb so that it's closer to the plant. I have 8 23w cfl 1 foot over my plants and it's not growing very fast compared to under the HPS.

Thank you for the input I will take that under consideration. Heat has not been an issue thankfully and the lights have been working out for me also.

If you don't wanna move the light up and down, you can do like some people here who raise their pots with books

For the record I do have adjustable racks to raise and lower the plants as they grow, note the veg box has racks and is used as the plants grow to optimum size then are moved to the flower box.
