week 4 can i trim

im about to start week four flowering my baby. but newayz im having problems with light penetration a about 3 leaves on bottom turning yellow. my plant is over three feet tall can i cut off about 5 fan leaves for penetration and the yellowing?

Cut it or bend it ... that simple

I wouldn't cut anything, you'll be depriving your buds of energy. Losing lower fan leaves during flowering is perfectly normal.

I'd cut it half an inch away from the main stem. If it's lifeless or almost, it's more likely to suck more energy than it produces. If it's yellow, it's in the process of dying anyways and the plant ultimately will continue mobilizing resources to keep it alive ... precious resources for other things such as ... buds ?

Thats my opinion on it, don't take this for green.

well i really cant tie and bend the plant its outside now. what can i do to help with light penetration

dont cut anything in flower u dont want to xpand tha time u have to wait 4 harvest
its normal for the fan leaves to yellow the plant is coming up to the end of its life cycle

Yes you can ... cut it or bend it that's all

I wish you had a pic. Is it in a pot? If so, you can still tie it apart to get light in there. I use binder clips and clip them on the side of the pot with string. I LST'd my trainwreck (indoors though) to get light underneath and she has over 200 buds on her! (Now she's tied to stand up straight rather than go sideways since she grew out a ways when tied down.) Good luck with her.

well thankz guys its in a pot but its buried cuz i moved it outside and it outgrew my inside set up. so i cover it everynight and kept it flowering. its just theres so many fan leaves that they cover a few of the buds. i really cant set anything up around it cuz its a secret and i dont really have anything to tie it to so i would have to put somethin there to make it more noticable. i just want the best light penetration there is to offer
