Week 4 First Time Flowering (Pics Included) Need Some Questions Answered!

Hello all! I have been posting on rollitup throughout my first grow here sense day 1 with questions and problems that have been solved. So far this site and community has been great so I figured Id make one last post until harvest day in 3 weeks.

Today marks my 4th week of flowering. I started to flower these feminized strains before I really wanted to but I had no choice due to lack of time I have before I have to cut them down. Long story short is I have some family coming to see me that I would rather not know what I do in my apartment so I have to cut them down at week 7 maybe a few days into week 7 to early.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if its okay to cut them down a week early and still yield good and the buds will be mature enough. I was also wondering what I should do the last week or 2 to get these buds ready. I remember reading about what you should do the last 2 weeks of flowering to help ripin your buds and get them to swell and taste good. I got florakleen for final flushs and Im using RO'd water for my nutes.

2 out of 3 strains shown below have a 7-9 week flowering which is my Nirvana AK-48 and ICE, my 3rd strain is blackjack which is 8-10 weeks. My rig is a 600w hps bulb, using an ebb and flow 2x2 system wit fox farm nutes, Keep room temps around 70 to 72.

The pics below are from 2 days ago so they have acually gotten considerably bigger but one of my concerns is the smell.... there is none!!!! I mean when I rub the leaves with resin on them, it smells super funk but you can barely smell these plants when you walk into the room and the buds are such a decent size I was wondering why they still dont stank!!!!

yeah only 1 of the plants is stretchy because I fucked up with the trimming and pruning. This is my first grow so its experimental, I toped the stretchy 1 to early and trimmed and cut to many branchs on the main stem. My other 3 have a good flower to leaf ration though.

Sounds like you're definitely in a pickle. If you do cut them down early, how are you going to deal with the smell, drying, and curing? As for the two week question, I recently read that molasses is what should be added to water in the last week or two before harvest; water being the exclusive food in the last week. Also I must commend you on your choice of strains, three I've wanted to try myself.

If you cut them early you'll get good bud but you'll be missing weight and high potential. Nevertheless there're people who like to cut their plants while the trichs are still clear/milky aiming for the most psychoactive high, you should take a look into that. I think there's nothing you can do to shorten the cycle besides CO2. About Molasses you can start adding it now, in fact you should've started it in your previous feeding right at the beginning of 4th week.

Well, sense its my first grow im not to upset I have to cut them down a week early because my fam doesnt come that often, so now that I have some experience in growing my next grow should be close to flawless, I didnt really expect to even make it this far to be honest. Just makes me look forward to my next set of plants to flower because Ill have as much time to flower them as I want.
