Week 4 flower , yellowing leaves ...

I've only been top dressing with Gaia green organics dry amendments every 3-4 weeks . I'm in week 5 of flower and all of a sudden I'm noticing a lot of leaves yellowing and dropping off . It's hard for me to believe I've over feeding since I'm using all organic. Using distilled water rn .because the city water here is crazy in chemicals and a simple brita filter just won't do. Water every 2-3 days with about a half gallon water into a 3 gal pot .using a 150w led light bout 12 inches from canopy.Snapchat-2061959582.jpgSnapchat-139049562.jpgSnapchat-788603572.jpgSnapchat-21334356.jpgSnapchat-219447699.jpg

Are you in a pre-built soil with amendments, or did you start with a plain medium like promix or coco? The yellowing, particularly on the edge of the leaves, and relatively sparse looking buds for this stage of development makes me think you’re lacking some K. The buds are starting to throw some red stigmas, but haven’t really filled out at all yet.

How have your ph and temps/VPD been ? Have you been increasing the amount of food you’re giving them as they’ve been getting bigger, or have you topdressed the same amount each time? How did the plant react after you’re feedings before, compared to how it’s acting now? Have you been keeping any notes that you can refer back to ?

I run Organic and week 4-7 nutes are at the highest level all grow ( bottle instructions ) by then some decisions need to be made.
The lower buds down by the dirt. Looks to be a few and if they can fill in above great But if not that is a lot of energy invested in a bud site that will not produce much. Defoling saves the nutrition energy for higher up sites that have light at levels high enough to grow well. Save the nice solar panels. Great to have a nice foundation of fans to support flowers and bud sites.

Started with recommended dose . Last top dress i gave an extra 15 ml of dry bloom amendment . Thinking maybe i should give here another top dress asap?

If you’re relying on top dressing to be the primary feeding method, you need to stay “ahead” by top dressing early, before it’s needed. Remember, the stuff does take some time to break down and be available. If you “fall behind” you may need a shot of some salt type fertilizer to immediately catch up, unless you have teas or other home made solutions already prepared and on standby.

Unfortunately, the way to really know is by watching the progression of the plant over time. If you keep feeding the same amount and the plant starts looking hungry, there’s your sign. If you’ve been ramping up food, and the plant still looks like this, it could be an overfeed issue and a lockout due to ph or too much of something.
