Week 4 Of My First Grow (just joined this site)

Well im starting to run short on time since im moving and there isnt a set date yet, so i threw the plants into flowering yesterday. they look pretty good today and i think i can see some little hairs growing on the sweet tooth kush so my hopes are high for the rest of the grow. ill post new pictures when theres something new to post. also i started germing 3 bag seeds for a fun little solo cup grow while these are flowering.

you've got your work cut out if you have a house move planed, i had to chop my greenhouse grow early.... but take no viewings while i did so cos my place wreaked of weed for 4 days :-)

i also put in a scrog level to see what it'd turn out like. what do you guys think, keep it or take it back out and let them do their thing? here are the pictures with scrog.

Get rid of the Co2 bottles. They are worthless when using cfls and such. They will work with MH or HPS better.

Great looking plants, my advice would be to not use cfls under the 23 watt 100 equivalent and also to get your lights closer. CFLs are pretty much useless at a foot away or more. The closer the better.

Hey dude...
I advise u to use only HPS lamp 400W for flowerig and Mh lamp for veg...
U can c result in my started thread (issue on my room plz) ....
I use Leds vs Hps I think its useful for buds ....

a little co2 never hurts although it would be alittle more effective with hps you using activated yeast?

a side note that is the most getto setup i have seen but good results a if you taped printer paper to the walls and made some cones with the paper aswell for around the lights you might be able to squeeze some more lumens outta those cfls, with cfls every little bit counts despite the makeshift setup awsome job :)

as far as flowering goes you really don't wanna use those cfls you will have really loose bushy buds you definitely need a hps a good cheap site i use is http://www.htgsupply.com really cheap lights and really fast shipping

i read a few posts up and noticed that you were on a tight budget http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-FLORALUX-150w-HPS-Mini-Grow-Light.asp you cannot beat the price and with that scrog setup you have thats all you will need bud will be dense and juicy

great prices :) thanks for the link, already have my eye on one i want! and yeahh, i was nervous to start because i basically had no money to put into this. but im glad i did, im only growing for personal use obviously so if i can get a decent jar full ill be more than happy! plus i found that just growing the plants is an amazing experience and something i know ill continue to build on for years to come ( hopefully :) )

Hey brother, you are definitely going to want to change over to an HPS light when you start flowering. Those CFL's are not going to do much in terms of giving you a big yield. Your grow is going well so far. Another thing you can do is to go buy some Panda film or Mylar to place around your grow. That will give you better reflective light and it will be fire retardant.
