Nothing is ready at 5 weeks,but now would be a good time to get a 60x to 100x scope to check the trichomes over the next three to five weeks.

Looks nice and healthy for week5. Make sure u pull back on that nitrogen the last couple of weeks. Doing a very nice job. Do what cracker said, get urself a 100x scope, that's wat I use. I bet 60 would be ok, but 30x and 40x loups do not work. Yea u can see the trichs, but u cant tell if they are cloudy or amber. You should go a minimum of 60 days. I flower all my plants longer than is suggested. Why? Because it is only an opinion. If u have less light it could take a lot longer than 8 weeks. My thought is: Indica dominant 9-10 weeks, Hybrid(50-50) 10 weeks, Sativa dominant 10-12 weeks. I've flowered Afgoo and Qrazy Train indoor and outdoor. Indoor they are both 10 week strains, that's my experience! The outdoor went 20 weeks, no shit! This was last summer.

I don't use loupes,I use a scope that zooms from 60x to 100x and is lighted...like the 420 scope.

i bought one from some chinese company for like five bucks including shipping. delivery too about 4 weeks:it works really well.

You can take a guess and say and pick at 60 days,but I'd rather know for sure.Get a scope.
